A vacation in Braunlage – what sounds simple offers many possibilities. The Harz has long ceased to be a dusty, forgotten travel destination. Whether it’s a hiking holiday in Braunlage, mountain biking tours, or a short summer break: the nature of this legendary region has a lot to offer its guests. Discover our tips for a successful vacation!
Most of our guests visit us in winter. No wonder: Braunlage is located directly on the Wurmberg, a paradise for winter sports and a popular ski resort. That’s why we not only offer a ski cellar for your equipment in almost all our properties but also a sauna to warm up properly.
Do you fancy a ski holiday, a short winter trip (between November and March, we usually get some snow), or simply want to unwind? Also discover our StrandBerg family with special highlights such as a gin tasting in Northern Germany’s highest distillery.
